1. General Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, all of the following must be true:

✅ Item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging
✅ Return request is submitted within 30 days
✅ You provide proof of purchase (order number or email)

Items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect are always eligible for replacement or refund—see Section 4.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are NOT eligible for return or refund unless defective:

  • Opened or used items

  • Items damaged after delivery due to misuse

  • Free gifts, promotional items, or discounted final-sale products

  • Digital downloads or gift cards (if applicable)


3. Return Process

To request a return, please contact us at:

Once approved, you will receive return instructions, including the correct return address.
Do not ship items back until return is approved — unauthorized returns may not be processed.


4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, notify us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Photo or video of the issue

  • Order number

  • Description of the problem

We will replace, reship, or refund at no cost to you.
In most cases, you will not need to return the damaged item.


5. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective item, damaged on arrival):
    ✅ We cover return shipping or provide a replacement free of charge.

  • If the return is due to customer preference (changed mind, wrong color ordered, etc.):
    ❌ Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable unless the return is due to a MelloRest error.


6. Refund Method & Timeline

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will email you to confirm approval or rejection.

If approved, refund will be issued:

  • To the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)

  • Within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank/payment provider

If the refund is delayed, please check with your bank or card issuer before contacting us.


7. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only before they are processed or shipped.
Once shipped, the normal return policy applies.

If you need to cancel, email us immediately with the subject:
Cancel Order – #[order number]


8. Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges for:

  • Defective items

  • Wrong size/color received (if applicable)

If you ordered the wrong item by mistake, you may return it (if eligible) and place a new order.


9. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, MelloRest is not responsible for theft or misdelivery.
If this occurs, we recommend contacting:

  • The shipping carrier

  • Your local post office

  • Building management (for apartments)

We may assist on a case-by-case basis, but replacements are not guaranteed for stolen packages.


10. Final Sale Items

Certain items may be marked FINAL SALE during promotions or clearance.
These items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless damaged/defective.
